Prototypes

A prototype can be understood as the set of elements which works as a map detailing the organisation of the content on a website. They are made according to the previously defined information architecture and the main and secondary navigation elements, as well as the functions available depending on the interaction design.

Characteristics of a project with correct prototypes

To improve user experience, all use cases are prototyped to obtain the necessary interface elements for any eventuality. These range from static website content to error messages and flows. These prototypes, also known as wireframes, allow quick and economical changes, facilitating the repetition of the design to achieve coherence between the different screens or pages and consistency across all its elements. Once this objective is achieved in the wireframes, we extract patterns from which to construct the templates for correct dynamic content. These templates are passed on to visual design in order to achieve a detailed definition of the final interface to build and integrate.
